Che cos'è un file MHM?
An MHM file is a plain text file used to load a 3D model created by MakeHuman, an open-source 3D character generator. It contains a description of the 3D model's body type and other characteristics, a list of the assets used to skin the model, and metadata. MHM files may reference assets included with MakeHuman, or they may reference custom assets.

MakeHuman is a free, multiplatform 3D modeling program that allows you to quickly create humanoid characters. You can use sliders and selection menus to adjust a character's body type, hair, skin color, clothing, and other items. You can then save the model you've created in a variety of formats, including MakeHuman's native MHM format.
MHM files contain plain text data MakeHuman uses to construct the model the file describes. It also contains references to the locations where assets used to skin the model, such as clothing or other items, are stored. If you open an MHM file, and the assets it references are not stored in the correct locations, the model the file describes will not appear correctly.
Typically, MakeHuman saves MHM files in the following directory:
~/Users/[USER]/Documents/makehuman/v#/models

You can open an MHM file with MakeHuman (multiplatform). You can also open an MHM file with Blender (multiplatform) after installing the MPFB (MakeHuman Plug-in for Blender) add-on. Remember that for the model your MHM file contains to appear correctly, you must possess all the assets your MHM file references, and they must be stored in the locations listed in the file.
You can also open an MHM file in Microsoft Notepad (Windows), Apple TextEdit (Mac), or any other text editor to view the plain text data it contains.

An MHM file is a macro recorded using the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center. It is used to automatically perform a task in Windows or a Windows program, such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel. To execute the macro an MHM file contains, you must own a Microsoft mouse and/or keyboard, and you must use Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center to associate your MHM file with a mouse or keyboard button. MHM files are stored in the Documents/Microsoft Hardware/Macros directory.

Macros are scripts you can execute to complete a complex or repetitive task. Most often, users execute a macro by pressing one or more keyboard keys. For example, users who often format their Microsoft Word documents the same way can create a macro that, with a single keypress, applies that formatting.
In Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center, Windows users who own a Microsoft keyboard or mouse can create macros and associate them with a certain mouse or keyboard button. These macros are saved as MHM files. Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center comes with a default set of MHM files, which are intended for use with Microsoft Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Word. However, when creating their own macros, users can save MHM files that perform nearly any Windows action.
NOTA: If you do not own a Microsoft keyboard or mouse, you will not be able to open MHM files in Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center.
