A COMPILED file is a game resource file used by PopCap Games Plants vs. Zombies (PvZ), a game where you defend your home against invading zombies. COMPILED files are compressed with zlib compression and stored in the "Compiled" folder, which is located in the game's main.pak archive. The .PAK archive must be extracted in order to view and modify the COMPILED files. The "compiled" extension is appended on to files, such as example.reanim.compiled.
