.CCI Extension de fichier

A CCI file is a game ROM used to play a Nintendo 3DS game in a 3DS emulator. It contains the game's executable file and may store other game data, such as the game's manual and updates. CCI files are similar to .3DS files in the Citra Cartridge Image (CCI) format. Gamers who want to play Nintendo 3DS games on their computer or mobile device can do so with Lime3DS, an emulator that replaced Citra.

Game files packaged for Lime3DS are saved in many different formats, including the 3DS, .CXI, .CIA, and CCI formats. Like 3DS files, CCI files typically contain the entirety of a game cartridge's contents, "dumped" from the cartridge to a single file.

For this reason, each CCI file contains multiple CXI files, only one of which is actually necessary to launch a game. The others contain non-essential game data.

You can open a CCI file with Lime3DS (multiplatform). To do so, select Add New Game Directory. Then navigate to and select the folder that contains your CCI file.

A CCI file is a compressed bitmap image created by Champions' Interlace, a graphics program for Atari computers. It contains a 160 x 192 pixel image. CCI files are compressed .CIN (Champions' Interlace Bitmap) files.

You can open a CCI file with Piotr Fusik RECOIL (multiplatform) or Tom's Editor (Web) to view the image it contains.

You can use RECOIL or Tom's Editor to convert CCI files to more common image formats. For example, Tom's Editor can convert CCI files to the following formats:
