What is a SUNIFF file?
A SUNIFF file is a raster image saved in the Sun TAAC Image File Format (SUNIFF). It contains a paletted, full RGB or RGBA image. SUNIFF files are uncompressed.

Sun Microsystems developed the SUNIFF format for use on its proprietary workstations. SUNIFF files may instead be saved with the .TAAC or .VFF extensions.
How to open a SUNIFF file
You can open a SUNIFF file with XnViewMP (multiplatform). To do so, select File → Open... from the program's menu bar. Then, navigate to and open your file.
