What is an SNSF file?
Electronic audio file format used by Super Nintendo games; similar to the popular .NSF sound format; contains musical data extracted from an SNES ROM.
Very few Nintendo (NES/Famicom) games contained SNSF files, since the NSF format is much more common. Some games that used the SNSF format include Chrono Trigger and Wolfenstein 3D.
NOTE: SNSF files can be played using Winamp with the in_snsf plug-in installed.
