What is an SNAGSTYLES file?
A SNAGSTYLES file is a style collection used by previous versions of TechSmith Snagit, a screen image and video capture program. It contains settings used to ensure annotations added to screenshots are styled consistently.
For example, a SNAGSTYLES file might determine how arrows, talk bubbles, lines, shapes, and pen lines appear in Snagit. Styles are often used across multiple images, to ensure elements added to those images use the same colors, shadow settings, line weight, etc.
NOTE: In more recent versions of Snagit, SNAGSTYLES files have been replaced by .SNAGTHEME files.
How to open an SNAGSTYLES file
You can open a SNAGSTYLES in Snagit by dragging the file to the Snagit icon in your computer's taskbar.
