What is a QXP file?
A QXP file is a project created by QuarkXPress, a desktop publishing program. It contains project information, which includes page layout settings, text, drawn shapes, images, and page layout metadata. QXP projects may consist of a single page or multiple pages.
QuarkXpress enables you to design a wide range of published print materials, such as flyers, newspapers, catalogs, and content for websites and mobile applications. Quark Software introduced the QXP project file type when it released version 6 of QuarkXpress, replacing the .QXD file type used by prior versions of QuarkXPress.
When working on a design, you can save it as a QXP project, close it, then re-open it for further editing. To create a QXP file with QuarkXpress, select File → New → Project..., choose the settings, click OK, then select File → Save or Save As....
