What is a QF file?
Web page template created with Qompose (pronounced "compose"), an HTML templating language; allows multiple pages to be built from the same basic layout; uses "tokens" to specify different sections of each page.
Published Qompose Web pages also end in ".qf" (rather than ".html"). They are processed by the Qompose CGI script installed on the Web server.

What is a QF file?
Contains version information and configuration data for Nokia Maps, a mobile phone mapping program; typically stored in the root directory of the phone's memory card.
In general, the Maps QF file should not be modified. However, to uninstall Maps 3.0, the QF file and the "cities" folder may need to be deleted.

File used by Wimba Diploma, a test question creation program; contains question banks used to create tests; includes question formats such as multiple choice, true/false, matching, fill-in-the-blank, and short answer; can be exported as a .RTF file in order to be viewed by text editors; similar to the .QB file.
NOTE: When Wimba was purchased by Blackboard in 2010, development of Diploma ceased.
