To install a ROM stored in a MIN file in RetroPie, place the ROM MIN file in the following path:

/​home/​pi/​RetroPie/​roms/​pokemini

To add BIOS firmware stored in a MIN file in RetroPie, place the BIOS MIN file in the following path:

/​home/​pi/​RetroPie/​BIOS

What is a MIN file?

File created for Freemacs, a text-editor used by the FreeDOS operating system; contains MINT (Mint Is Not Trac) string-oriented programming language.

MINT is a version of TRAC text-based programming language. It's an extension language used by Freemacs.

The FreeDOS operating system is very similar to the old MS-DOS but is more versatile. The latest version of Freemacs is 1.6g.

NOTE: Freemacs is partially compatible with GNU Emacs, a more popular text-editor.
