What is a K25 file?

A K25 file is a digital photo captured by a Kodak DC25 digital camera. It may contain a high-resolution photo or a standard-resolution photo. While K25 files are saved in a proprietary format, you can open them with XnViewMP, Microsoft Photos, and several other image viewers.

The Kodak DC25 is a digital camera that Kodak released in the late 1990s. Notably, the DC25 was the first Kodak digital camera that could save photos to a Compact Flash removable memory card. These photos, as well as photos saved to the camera's internal memory, were saved as K25 files.

How to open a K25 file

You can open a K25 file with Microsoft Photos, XnViewMP, or Corel AfterShot Pro, to view and edit the image it contains.

If you want to make extensive edits to the image your K25 file contains, you should open it with AfterShot Pro, as that program contains professional-level photo editing tools.

How to convert a K25 file
