What is a GPF file?
File used by Gecko OS, a program used to load Nintendo Wii games and apply cheat codes; contains data and logic that modify game content; often used by third-party homebrew developers for creating cheat codes; commonly created with hex editor programs.
NOTE: GPF files are used on Nintendo Wii systems that have been "softmodded," meaning that they have been altered from their original state for purposes other than those intended by the manufacturer. The Wii softmod process is not supported by Nintendo.

GIS project file created by Geosoft software products such as Oasis montaj 6 and later; stores all project files and organizes them; used for managing geospatial data from different sources, such as databases, maps, and flat files.
Geosoft 5 and earlier used the extension .GWS for project files, which were called "Geosoft Workspaces." GWS files can be imported into newer versions of the software and converted to GPF files.

Document created in the Grant Agreement Preparation Forms (GPF) format; contains project information for contract preparation, including a title, starting date, duration, description, keywords, participants, and other legal information; used for project negotiations with the European Commission.
GPF forms are required by the European Commission for producing grant agreements. They can be created using GPF Editor, an application used to prepare and electronically exchange GPF files.
NOTE: European Commission discontinued the GPF Editor.
