What is an ECS5 file?
An ECS5 file is a project created by version 5 of Craft Edge Easy Cut Studio, an app for creating designs to be cut out by electronic cutting machines. It stores a design layout, including graphics, shapes, text, pencil or pen drawings, paintbrush strokes, or shapes. After creating your design, you can export it to various formats with Easy Cut Studio, including .JPEG and .SVG.
Easy Cut Studio allows you to create designs, such as signs, stickers, labels, stencils, and logos you can cut out with a cutting plotter. It is available for Windows and macOS.
As you create your design, you can save it as an ECS5 file to store your progress in the file. You can then close the file and reopen it again to edit it. To create an ECS5 file, select File → Save Project or Save Project As.
How to open an ECS5 file
You can open an ECS5 with Craft Edge Easy Cut Studio (version 5 or later). For example, to open an ECS5 file with version 5 of Easy Cut Studio, select File → Open Project.
