What is a DICPROOF file?
File used by Microsoft programs to proof-read authored documents; contains a collection of pre-fabricated and user-defined keywords and phrases; commonly found with the filename custom.dicproof.
The custom.dicproof file may be found in the same directory as the file custom.dic, which is an updated version of the DICPROOF file that is used for newer versions of Microsoft applications.
