File used by Brio Insight, an Internet Explorer plug-in used for displaying reports generated from Brio business intelligence software; contains a query that generates a client-side report from a server when executed.

The Brio software is used for constructing BQY files, which are often sent via email to clients or co-workers. These files can be opened in Internet Explorer if you have the Brio Insight plug-in installed.
