What is an AWD file?

Fax image, also called an "At Work Document," created by Microsoft Fax software; stores the content of a received fax, including the text and page structure information; can be converted to a .TIF file by executing the program awdvstub.exe, which is located in the i386\win9xmig\fax\ directory on the Windows XP/2000 installer CD.
