Typically, Roku TVs automatically update to the latest version of the Roku TV software. However, if a user's Roku TV is not connected to the Internet, they must manually update the device's software.
To manually update a Roku TV, users go to tvupdate.roku.com, enter their TV's specifications, and then receive a corresponding update.roku file. Users must then transfer the update.roku file to a USB flash drive, plug the drive into their Roku TV, and continue the update process.
如何打开 ROKU 文件
Update.roku files are not meant to be opened. To use an update.roku file stored on a USB flash drive to update your Roku TV:
- Plug the flash drive into your Roku TV.
- Press the Home button on your Roku TV remote.
- Select Settings → System → System update → I can't connect.
Your Roku TV will then display a 12-digit code that you are meant to enter on your computer, at tvupdate.roku.com. After you enter the 12-digit code, your computer will display a six-digit code that you must enter on your Roku TV, to complete the update process.
