Linker script used by the MPLAB C Compiler, which is used to compile program logic for Digital Signal Controllers (DCSs) and other microcontroller units (MCUs); contains instructions that specify how the linker merges program code and data from multiple input files into a resulting output file.

GLD linker scripts are used to control the locations where microcontroller logic and variables are stored in registers and other memory on the chip. Device-specific GLD files can often be found in the support\gld directory within a MPLAB software product installation.

Project file created by Ground Loop Design (GLD), an application used for designing ground source heat pump systems; includes design data such as an energy analysis, building heating and cooling capacities, costs, summary information, installation, and C02 (carbon dioxide) emissions.
