An EPF file is a project created by EAGLE, a Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) designing program. It contains project information such as version and platform. EPF files include references to boards (.BRD file) and schematics (.SCH file) that are associated with the project.

To create an EPF file, select File → New → Project, and name the file or else it will be given the default name "New_Project." You can view the file in the Control Panel of the application under "Projects," it will be located in the "eagle" folder. You can also view the file in the directory it was saved, most likely in the Documents folder.
注: Autodesk EAGLE was formerly known as CadSoft EAGLE. The software was acquired by Autodesk in 2016. EAGLE stands for "Easily Applicable Graphical Layout Editor."

注: EPF files are the Student Edition equivalent of .PPF files. They cannot be used to generate NC (Numerical Control) machine code. They also cannot be saved as PPF files in the Student Edition.
