Software Overview
OpenGL SDK is a cross-platform SDK for Open Graphics Library (OpenGL) developers. The application consists of libraries and tools developed by 3rd party contributors.
OpenGL SDK enables developers to create graphics software applications. Some of the library components that come with the SDK include a high-level 3D graphics toolkit, an open source extension loading library, an open source programming interface and resource management system, and a mathematics library for 3D software that is based on the OpenGL Shading Language. The SDK also provides tools for debugging Unix-like operating systems and OpenGL and OpenCL applications.
The SDK is a popular choice for learning 2D and 3D programming with the OpenGL library, as it also features an active community of users and helpful discussion forum. Some of the fields that utilize OpenGL are CAD programs, video games, flight simulators, and scientific visualization tools. If you work with OpenGL, the OpenGL SDK is a valuable coding resource.
