Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program for Android devices. It is used to organize, analyze, visualize, and manipulate data. In order to create or edit spreadsheets you must sign in to your Microsoft Office 365 account. Without a subscription you can only view the spreadsheets.
Excel supports the XLSX and XLS formats and allows you to make edits to your spreadsheets that will appear the same on your mobile device and computer. You can perform a variety of functions such as sorting and filtering data, creating simple formulas, inserting tables and charts, and making comments. You can also access your Excel spreadsheets from OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, and SharePoint.
Excel is the best Android app for viewing, creating, and editing XLSX and XLS spreadsheets. It features much of the same functionality as the desktop version and syncs your edits across your devices through your Office 365 subscription. Microsoft Excel is the way to go for working with spreadsheets on your Android device.
