Software Overview

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is security software for Windows that specializes in blocking malware. It cleans infected computers, prevents future infections, and blocks dangerous websites. It was merged into the premium version of Malwarebytes and is no longer available as a separate security program.

Anti-Malware removes various types of malware, including spyware and adware from infected computers and prevents future infections. It blocks pop-ups and browser redirects and scans your computer without slowing it down, providing a Hyper Scan mode for faster analysis that only targets active threats. Anti-Malware also comes with defensive chameleon technology to hide from malware seeking to terminate or modify the security software.

Anti-Malware is one of the easier-to-use security programs available for protecting your PC but, it doesn't provide nearly as many security features as other security programs, such as Bitdefender Antivirus Plus or Kaspersky Anti-Virus. However, Anti-Malware was merged with Anti-Exploit into the premium version of Malwarebytes, making it a more complete security solution.
