Google Earth Pro is an application used to view satellite imagery, terrain, maps, 3D buildings, oceans, and other galaxies. It is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You can also use Google Earth in your web browser if you are not interested in downloading the program.
The application allows you to view planet Earth from a variety of perspectives, including from outer space to street level. You can explore Earth's geography, fly around 3D cities, and visualize GPS tracks. Google Earth also provides a library of tours, videos, and imagery to help you experience historical changes, effects of climate change, and more.
Some of the advanced capabilities include the ability to use data layers to locate a target demographic, import vector image files to map GIS data, "time travel" with historical imagery, and map addresses using the app's Spreadsheet Importer. You can also compute distances and areas with the program's measurement tools and print high-resolution images from the application.
