Software Overview
ESTsoft ALZip is a free file compression utility. It is the most popular zipping program in Korea but is used all over the world.
ALZip is a simple tool for zipping and unzipping file archives. It has it's own proprietary formats .ALZ and .EGG, but can unzip 40 formats and zip 8. ALZip was originally created because of language difficulties with WinZip and is available in over 20 different languages.
If you are having difficulties using a file archiving utility due to the language it is written in, ALZip is easily accessible across many different languages. If you can easily understand the interface of your zipping program on the other hand, ALZip does not have much else to offer.
