In Celestia, you can explore the far reaches of the universe. You can navigate the solar system, travel to different planets, orbit stars, and more. The simulator can be used to display the orbital paths of spacecraft, asteroids, planets, and artificial satellites. Celestia lets you zoom in to objects thousands of miles away at different points in history. The application is highly extensible, as well.
