Software Overview
AppleWorks was an office suite application that replaced ClarisWorks for OS X computers. It was named after the original AppleWorks that was available on older Apple machines. Apple discontinued the suite, and its various capabilities are distributed as separate applications in the iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote).
Word processing, spreadsheet editing, and graphic editing were only a few of the capabilities found in AppleWorks. The program was also capable of managing databases and creating/editing equations with a handy GUI editor.
Summary
AppleWorks has long been discontinued and hasn't been sold since 2007. If you found it to be a useful program, you may enjoy using the Pages, Numbers, and Keynote apps in the Apple iWork suite.
