File written in the Ring Tone Text Transfer Language (RTTTL) format; contains the ringtone name, control settings (such as duration, octave, and beats), and a sequence of letters that represent the notes (only one note at a time can be produced from a range of four octaves).

The RTTTL file consists of a single string that is divided into three sections, which are separated by colons. The first section is the name of the ringtone. The second section defines the control settings (d=duration, o=octave, b=beat). The third section describes the melody.

NOTA: Most cell phone manufacturers support the RTTTL format. The RTTTL file can be uploaded using programs, such as LogoManager Classic, to your cell phone.
