A GGB file is a math worksheet created and used by GeoGebra, a free, multi-platform mathematics education program. It contains the data used to load a manipulable graph in GeoGebra. GGB files are Zip-compressed archives, which are comprised of an .XML file, .JS file, and .PNG file.

GeoGebra is a math education software suite used to teach math to students of all levels. The suite's programs, including GeoGebra Classic, GeoGebra Graphing Calculator, and other graphing applications, allow teachers and students to graph and analyze various mathematical data.
When a teacher or student saves a GeoGebra graph, that graph is saved as a GeoGebra worksheet, or GGB file. Teachers often create GGB files and send them to students, so the students can solve problems the teacher has included on the worksheet. The student then saves their own copy of the GGB file, which contains their answers.
NOTA: A GGB file may also be part of a dynamic GeoGebra worksheet. In this case, the file must be stored alongside an accompanying .HTML and .JAR file, which are also used to open the worksheet.

Advanced GeoGebra users who want to modify the XML that a GGB file uses to display a worksheet can do so by unzipping the GGB file and then opening and editing the archive's XML file in any text or source code editor. GeoGebra recommends that you create a backup of your GGB file before editing its component XML.
