Czym jest plik PMXML?
A PMXML file is a project plan created by Oracle Primavera P6, a project management application. It contains XML-formatted data used to show a project's included tasks, timeline, materials, and other required resources in Primavera. PMXML files are similar to .XER files, except they are saved in an XML format that other project management applications can open and process more easily.

Oracle Primavera is an enterprise-level project management program that allows project managers to design, schedule, and analyze projects. It is most commonly used by construction project managers. Oracle acquired Primavera from Primavera Systems in 2008.
Primavera P6 allows users to save project planning files in an XML format. These files are PMXML files. PMXML files can be used to import project plans to other project management applications, which can use libraries such as MPXJ to show the plan a PMXML file describes.
Jak otworzyć plik PMXML
You can open a PMXML file in Oracle Primavera. To do so, select File → Import → Primavera P6 - (XML). You can also open PMXML files in any project management application that uses the MPXJ library.
Because PMXML files are XML files, you can additionally open them in any source code or text editor, including:
- Microsoft Visual Studio Code (cross-platform)
- GitHub Atom (cross-platform)
- Apple TextEdit (Mac)
- Microsoft Notepad (Windows)
Opening a PMXML file in a source code or text editor will show the raw XML text the file contains. Parsing a PMXML file's data in text form will likely be more difficult than opening the file and viewing its contents in a project management application.
