You can export a TERMINAL file by choosing Shell → Export Settings... from the application menu. Aternatively you can choose Terminal → Preferences..., select the "Settings" tab, and then choose "Export" from the left-hand column options menu. You can import Terminal settings here as well by choosing "Import," or by selecting Shell → Import... from the application menu.
Developers and system administrators often use different Terminal settings for different tasks. For example, while one window scheme may be used for source code development, another may be used for SSH administration.
OPMERKING: Terminal includes several pre-built settings schemes that can be accessed from the "Settings" tab within the application preferences window.
