Wat is een PLST-bestand?
A PLST file is a practice playlist used by MakeMusic SmartMusic, a program that helps musicians practice with digital music accompaniments. It contains a list of musical pieces and accompaniments selected for a practice session. Musicians and music educators can use PLST files to organize pieces for individual practice, rehearsals, or lessons.

PLST files are associated with the older desktop version of SmartMusic. Users could create and save playlists with selected pieces and accompaniments, then reopen them later to continue practicing. MakeMusic renamed SmartMusic to MakeMusic Cloud in 2022, and the current service provides playlist features through its web-based platform rather than relying on PLST files.

You can open PLST files with MakeMusic SmartMusic. To open a PLST file with SmartMusic, select File → Open. However, MakeMusic renamed SmartMusic to MakeMusic Cloud in 2022, and it no longer supports PLST files.
