3D image file created by ZModeler, a free 3D modeling program; stores the three-dimensional geometry of one or more objects; can also include effects such as lighting; most often used for saving models of racing cars and other vehicles.

Z3D files can be exported to various 3D image formats, including the 3D Studio .3DS and Wavefront .OBJ formats. ZModeler also supports car models formats from various racing games, including Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit, Need for Speed: Shift, Grand Theft Auto 4, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, and others.
