File used by sonaBuilder, an application used for creating musical accompaniments played by Cadenza; contains metadata, such as the timing and mapping of the musical accompaniment, that is referenced by Cadenza to follow the user's pace; also contains the audio that is played to support the performing musician.

sonaBuilder creates the XMU file to hold data used by Cadenza to sync the audio output of the music with the audio input from a performing musician. This allows Cadenza to match the supporting music with the musician or singer.
