A REAL file is an augmented reality (AR) project created in Adobe Aero, an application that allows users to create and share AR experiences. Adobe Aero is an iOS, macOS, and Windows application that allows users to design, animate, experience, and share AR scenes. For example, an iPad user can use Adobe Aero to create a 3D animation of a rocket taking off. The user can then use their iPad's camera to superimpose their rocket animation over an image of their kitchen table and record a movie of the rocket taking off within their kitchen.
The AR scenes users create in Adobe Aero can include 3D images, 2D images, animations, and audio files. When a user wants to save their scene and share it with other Adobe Aero users, they can export the scene as a REAL file.
