A PCK file is a resource pack created by Godot Engine, an open-source game engine used to create 2D and 3D games. It is used to update an existing Godot Engine game. It may include new game features, patches, or mods.

To package game resources into a PCK file, Godot Engine developers select Project → Export and then click Export PCK/Zip. This packs all the current project's resources into a PCK file, which can be distributed to players. (The game itself may also need to be modified to import the PCK file.)
PCK files typically contain some combination of the following types of game assets:

- Scenes
- Shaders
- Models
- Textures
- Sound effects
- Music

To distribute PCK files, the SCCM software first builds a compressed PCK file with the source files for the update and then sends it to a Distribution Point (DP) computer. The DP allows registered client computers to download available packages in order to update their software.

Minecraft is a popular block-based building and exploration game available for many gaming platforms. Previously, console versions of Minecraft were developed by 4J Studios and named for the console on which they were played. For example, the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft was named Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. These versions of Minecraft have since been discontinued and replaced with the multiplatform Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
4J Studios' versions of Minecraft, which players commonly refer to as Minecraft: Legacy Console Edition, can install new content saved in PCK files. Each PCK file might include new skins, audio, textures, animations, and other game resources. Typically, players installed PCK files by downloading them from the Minecraft Marketplace on their game console. However, Minecraft: Legacy Console Edition modders have created tools that allow them to extract, edit, repackage, and manually install PCK files.

A PCK file is a package created with Oracle PL/SQL database software, most notably Allround Automations PL/SQL Developer. It contains a package specification and package in the PL/SQL language. PCK files are used to define the stored public procedures, functions, types, etc. that can be accessed by other applications to prevent package data from being unintentionally modified.

You can open and edit PCK files using PL/SQL Developer, which is developed by Allround Automations. You can also view and edit a PCK with a text editor since it is stored in plain text.
The PCK file allows you to combine the specifications for a PL/SQL package and the package body into one file. Typically, the specifications and body are stored in separate files. The package specification, which declares the variables, exceptions, types, constants, cursors, and subprograms publicly accessible from other applications, is commonly stored in the .PKS file. The package body, which consists of the code that implements the procedures, functions, and cursors listed in the package specification, is commonly stored in the .PKB file.
注: PL/SQL is a procedural language extension to Structured Query Language (SQL). It is available in Oracle Database (since version 6), IBM DB2 (since version 9.7), and TimesTen in-memory database (since version 11.2.1).
