Image file created by Photoshop Touch, a touch-based drawing program for iPad and Android tablets; similar to a .PSD file used by the desktop version of Photoshop, but supports a reduced set of features; used for storing graphics drawn by hand.

Photoshop Touch documents are commonly used for combining images, applying special effects, and sharing graphics with friends on social networking sites such as Facebook. PSDX files can be synced with the Adobe Creative Cloud for later editing and sharing with others.
PSDX files can be opened by the desktop version of Photoshop CS6 or by Photoshop CS5 with the Adobe PS Touch plug-in. The plug-in is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Plug-ins suite.
NOTA: Adobe Photoshop Touch was discontinued in 2016.
