An IPR file is a project file created by IntelliJ IDEA, a Java IDE. It contains XML settings for the project, including the directory structure, source code files, compiler settings, and included modules (.IML files). IPR files were previously used for saving and loading IDEA development projects, but have been replaced by .IDEA (IntelliJ IDEA Settings Directory) files.
Come aprire un file IPR
Because IPR files contain automatically generated and updated project settings, you likely should not manually open or edit them. However, if you want to open an IPR file, you can open it using IntelliJ IDEA (cross-platform) or any other text or source code editor, such as Notepad++ (Windows), Microsoft Visual Studio Code (cross-platform), or GitHub Atom (cross-platform).
To open the IntelliJ IDEA project that an IPR file contains settings for, select that project's main directory from IDEA's Open prompt.
