An HRZ file is an image produced by an unknown slow-scan television (SSTV) viewer. It contains a 256 x 240 pixel image, which is saved as an RGB bitmap.
Maggiori informazioni
SSTV allows ham radio operators to send images to each other as audio signals. These audio signals are transmitted over high frequency (HF) bands using single-sideband modulation (SSB). Each signal describes a single, small bitmap image. An operator can record the audio and open it in an SSTV decoding program to view the image the audio describes.
An HRZ file is an image that has been rendered from an SSTV audio signal. It is unknown what program or programs produce HRZ files. However, a few image viewers allow users to open HRZ files and view the images they contain.
