Che cos'è un file H5B?
An H5B file is a preset bundle created by Line 6 POD HD500 Edit. It is similar to an .H5S file, except that it can contain up to 8 set lists and their presets. When you open an H5B file with POD HD500 Edit, you can customize the set lists and presets it contains.

POD HD500 Edit is an application used to create presets for the POD HD500 guitar multi-effects pedal. Presets consist of FX, AMPS, Mixer, and Controllers settings. After creating one or more presets, guitarists can add them to POD HD500 set lists. They can then use POD HD500 Edit to transfer their set lists and presets to their POD HD500.
While creating set lists and presets in POD HD500 Edit, guitarists can save them in a variety of file formats, including the H5B format. Saving a collection of set lists as an H5B file allows a guitarist to quickly open and edit all those set lists at once in POD HD500 Edit.
To save a currently open collection of set lists as an H5B file, select File → Save Bundle As.... By default, POD HD500 Edit will save your H5B file in one of the following directories:
- Windows: ~/My Documents/Line 6/Tones/POD HD500 Edit/Bundles
- Mac: ~/Documents/Line 6/Tones/POD HD500 Edit/Bundles
NOTA: In POD HD500X Edit (the preset editing app for the POD HD500X), the .5XB format replaced the H5B format.
Come aprire un file H5B
You can open an H5B file with Line 6 POD HD500 Edit. To do so, select File → Open Bundle... from the program's menu bar. Then, navigate to and open your H5B file.
You can also open an H5B file with POD HD500X Edit. To do so, either drag and drop the file into the program, or rename the file to use the .5xb extension before opening it.
