An NVT3 file is a video created by certain NetVue home security cameras. It stores recorded camera footage captured by the device and is typically saved to a microSD card installed in the camera. Users commonly view NetVue security camera recordings stored as NVT3 files through the camera's companion mobile application while connected to the camera or its associated account. Some NetVue camera models may also allow users to access recordings stored locally on removable media, like a microSD card.
In some situations, users may want to retrieve recordings directly from the camera's storage card to archive footage or view it outside the mobile app. For this purpose, NetVue provides NVT Player software for Windows and macOS, which can open and play NVT3 video files. Users can transfer the files from the storage card to a computer and then load them into the player application for viewing.
