Qu'est-ce qu'un fichier MONOSNIPPET ?
A MONOSNIPPET file is an image template used by Helftone Monodraw, an ASCII art tool available for macOS. It contains an image element that can be added to a .MONOPIC file. Monodraw includes several default MONOSNIPPET files. Users can also create their own MONOSNIPPET files.

Monodraw is a drawing and diagramming tool that allows you to create diagrams, mind maps, banners, and art out of plain text elements. You can then export these drawings as .TXT, .PNG, or .SVG files.
The program includes several templates, also known as snippets, you can use to add a predefined element to a drawing. For example, you can use the Phone snippet to add an image of a smartphone to your drawing. Each snippet is saved as a MONOSNIPPET file. To use snippets, select the Templates menu from Monodraw's right-hand sidebar.
How to create MONOSNIPPET files
You can also create your own Monodraw snippets by:
- Selecting one or more elements of your drawing.
- Opening the Templates menu.
- Clicking .
Snippets you create are saved in Monodraw's User Snippets directory. To quickly access this directory, select from the Templates menu.

You can open a MONOSNIPPET file with Helftone Monodraw (Mac). To do so, open Monodraw and select the Templates menu from the app's right-hand sidebar. Then, click . Drag your MONOSNIPPET file into the Finder window that appears to use it as a snippet.
