What is a ZON file?
File used by OmniPage, a program that uses OCR technology to transform images and other files into searchable text documents; stores framed areas, or zones, of an image that should be processed with OmniPage's OCR algorithm; allows the zones to be saved and reused across multiple documents, which is helpful when processing large sets of documents that have the same page layout template.
