What is a YAODL file?
3D model used by PowerFlip, a program used to view and spin 3D objects; may contain polygons, NURBS, quad-meshes, object parameters, textures, and colors for objects, facets, and vertexes.
YAODL stands for "Yet Another Object Description Language." The format was originally used to store 3D models for PowerFlip demonstrations. It was not widely adopted and is no longer used by Silicon Graphics (SGI).
