What is a VSR file?
A VSR file is a video created by a CPCAM CCTV surveillance system. It contains footage recorded by a surveillance camera. VSR files can be played only using CPCAM's proprietary video players.
CPCAM is the North American division of Taiwanese closed-circuit television (CCTV) manufacturer AVTECH. Headquartered in Canada, CPCAM offers a variety of CCTV cameras and systems, some of which saved footage in VSR files. Notably, CPD57X and CPD50X series CCTV systems saved footage as VSR files. Modern CPCAM systems do not save footage as VSR files.
How to open a VSR file
You can play VSR files only in CPCAM's proprietary VSR video players, such as Video Server S (Windows) and VideoViewer for CPCAM (Windows).
