What is a UI4JD file?
A UI4JD file is a configuration file used by the Project 4JD UI add-on for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. It contains JSON-formatted data that specifies how the add-on alters Minecraft Bedrock Edition's UI. The Project 4JD UI add-on contains many UI4JD files, stored in its ui4jd directory.
More Information
Minecraft Bedrock Edition add-ons (.MCPACK files) allow players to alter the game's gameplay or UI. Project 4JD UI is an add-on that allows players to revert the game's current UI to a previous version, referred to as the 4JD Legacy Console UI.
Project 4JD UI is distributed as a .ZIP file, which players must rename to use the .mcpack extension before they can install it. This ZIP file contains all the add-on's constituent files, including resources and configuration files. Many of these configuration files are saved with the .ui4jd extension.
How to open a UI4JD file
You can open a UI4JD file and view the data it contains with Microsoft Visual Studio Code (multipaltform) or any other text editor.
