You can create a shortcut to the SETTINGCONTENT-MS file, which makes it easier to customize your settings:

  1. Right-click an empty space on your desktop and select New → Shortcut.
  2. Copy and paste the following text into the item location area bar and click Next:

  3. Name your shortcut "Windows Update Settings" and click Finish.

NOTE: For the text in step 2, if you're using a different language than English you'll have to change en-US in the text. Also, this text is for a shortcut to Windows Update settings, consult the "Common Filenames" section below for other SETTINGCONTENT-MS files.
