What is a SELECTIONPORTFOLIOLIBRARY file?
A SELECTIONPORTFOLIOLIBRARY file stores a collection of path-based selections created and used by Corel Painter, a digital drawing application. It contains default and user-created selections (or shapes) users can access through the application. Painter users export and import SELECTIONPORTFOLIOLIBRARY files to preserve and share libraries of path-based selections.
Painter offers various features for illustrating artwork and modifying photographs. Saved path-based selections saved in SELECTIONPORTFOLIOLIBRARY files provide a quick way to insert a shape into a Painter file. Default selections include a circle, rounded square, globe, star, and spiral.
You can add or remove a library of selections through the Media Library panel. To open this feature, select Window → Media Panels → Selections and click the "Selection Portfolio" tab.

You can open a SELECTIONPORTFOLIOLIBRARY file with Corel Painter. For example, to open an SELECTIONPORTFOLIOLIBRARY file, select Window → Media Panels → Selections and click the "Import Selection Portfolio" icon in the "Selection Portfolio" tab.
