What is a PSC1 file?
File created by Windows PowerShell, an advanced shell for Windows; contains properties and registered snap-ins (plug-ins) that are used by the current console; used for saving and loading specific shell settings.
To create a PSC1 file, use the Export-Console command in PowerShell. PSC1 files are saved using XML formatting. When opened, they create a new shell that has the same settings as the previous shell.
