What is a PJX file?
A PJX file is a project created by Microsoft Visual FoxPro, a database management and development tool. It contains various components required to build and manage a FoxPro application, such as source code files, menus, reports, labels, forms, and library files. PJX files are accompanied by .PJT files, which contain additional project metadata and bear the same filename (e.g., an example.pjx file is accompanied by an example.pjt file).
More Information
Developers using Visual FoxPro save projects as PJX files to organize and manage application development within the software. The project structure allows users to integrate multiple database and user interface elements into a cohesive application.
NOTE: Microsoft discontinued Visual FoxPro, releasing the last version (9.0) in 2007. Therefore, PJX files are now obscure.
How to open a PJX file
You can open PJX files with the discontinued Microsoft Visual FoxPro in Windows. To open a PJX file, select File → Open.
