.OLM File Extension

Microsoft Outlook for Mac users typically create OLM files by exporting their Outlook data. Users can use these files to back up their information or transfer Outlook data to another compatible Outlook for Mac installation.

However, the OLM format is not directly compatible with Outlook for Windows, which uses different data formats, including .PST files for Outlook data archives. To view OLM data in Outlook for Windows, users generally must first convert the OLM file to a compatible format, such as PST, using a third-party conversion tool.

You can open OLM files with Microsoft Outlook for Mac, which is the primary application for handling these files. To do this, go to Tools → Import.
