What is an MCMAC file?

File created to export MasterCook recipe files to MacGourmet Deluxe, an application used for organizing personal recipes and cookbooks; contains an exported MasterCook (another recipe organizer program) file in Mac format.

In order to create the MCMAC file, export your MasterCook file in "Mac Format," then add the MCMAC extension.

To import the MCMAC file:

  1. Open the MacGourmet application.
  2. Select File → Import..., select "MasterCook Mac" from the Format drop down menu, select file, and click Import.
